219: The Revived Ultimate Weapon

Gaara catches up to the leader in a dead end valley. Shino thinks the fights until now were just a diversion. Ino envies Sakura’s medical skill as she reconnects Lee's ligaments. As soon as Lee is healed he wants to help Gaara.

Gaara has almost used up the sand that's been infused with his chakra. The leader drops Matsuri then takes out his sword and calls out Mugen Kougai (Infinite Armor) and the armor from Suiko now appears on the leader. Then the leader calls for Garian Tor (Garian Sword) and Hishou Souken (Soaring Short Swords). The three branched sword and the shorts swords come to him. He creates a whirlwind tornado then attacks with the multiblade sword. Gaara shoulder is injured from the atacks.

Naruto arrives and releases Matsuri. Gaara avoids more attacks. Houki tells him to release Shukaku's power. He uses Kujaku Senpuu (Peacock whirlwind) and knocks down Naruto. Houki wants to end the rule of the 5 great countries. If the ultimate ninja weapons from the Takumi Village are completed there will no longer be a need for shinobi. Takumi Village has been providing ninja with tools and weapons for years. Because of worsening relationships between the villages and fear that their weapons would be passed around freely, the Takumi Village was raided. He attacks with the dragon sword but Naruto dodges. He then sends fire with his sword and Naruto is knocked down. He tries to finish Naruto off with the dragon sword but Gaara protects Naruto with sand made by combining the minerals in the ground with his sand and chakra.

Suddenly an object comes from the ground and encircles Gaara in a dome cage.

Tsunade gets a message from Takumi that says a group called the Shitenshounin has complete forbidden research and is now trying to revive an ultimate weapon. The remaining village residents have evacuated to avoid danger. Kakashi notes that's why the village was deserted. He asks what is their ultimate weapon. Tsunade says it's the revival of Seimei. Kakashi comments that's why the mausoleum was raided. Tsunade sends Kakashi and Jiraiya to stop the revival at all costs.

The group wants Shukaku's chakra. Before the dome completely closes around him, Gaara throws Matsuri her weapon and activates his third eye. The dome extracts Gaara's chakra and a coffin comes out from the cliff wall. Even the leader’s body is used to resurrect. Seimei, founder of Takumi village 100 years ago. Naruto tries to break into the dome with his kunai. Seimei has integrated all the weapons into his body. He uses Senmoufuu (whirling method) to knock Naruto away. Naruto tries again to break in with his bare hands.

Meanwhile Gaara transforms partially to Shukaku.

Lee and Sakura join Shikamaru. Neji and Hinata report that Gaara is inside the dome cage getting his chakra pulled out. Temari warns Shikamaru about Shukaku.

Seimei attacks Naruto with flames but he tries to dig under the cage. Seimei continues to attack including Goukuhou (Way of Karmic Suffering) which appear to be blasts of wind, and Naruto finally gets knocked away. Seimei absorbs Gaara's chakra. Naruto gets up again and makes his inspirational speech. Matsuri realizes Gaara was talking about Naruto. Tri-dragons attack, Matsuri uses her weapon to tie them up and says weapons killed her parents but they can also protect people important to you. Gaara breaks out of his cage half transformed.

Review: Can this get any sillier? Seimei looks like a drugged out hippie.

Thoughts:
Seems all four craftsmen from Takumi Village sacrificed themselves to resurrect Seimei but now there is no Takumi Village and no one to guide the ultimate weapon.
