Ep 112: Suddenly a Fight Among the Group!?
Shikamaru’s Squad in Big Danger.

Shikamaru and Neji land at the feet of the Sound Four. Shikamaru tells them they’re not here to fight but to negotiate. But Kidoumaru has also captured Naruto and Kiba with his web strings. Kiba throws a smoke bomb. Kidoumaru says his strings are thinner and stronger than wires, barely visible. But Shikamaru has them all in his shadow bind. But Sakon says he still has his technique and suddenly kunais fly at Shikamaru’s back and he is forced to release them. Jiroubou uses Doton Kekkai (Earth Barrier) and Doro Doumu (Mud Dome) and the team is encased in a dome of earth.

Sakon’s extra head returns to his body! Jiroubou stays behind to eat their chakra while the other three Sounds leave with Sasuke in the barrel. Kiba uses Tsuuga (Fang destroyer) and runs toward the wall. He makes a crater but it repairs itself. Neji activates his byakugan and sees their chakra being sucked out. Kiba gives Akamaru a hyourou gan (food pill). Kiba takes one too and Akamaru uses the mimic technique and Kiba uses his beast technique. Now there are two beast-like Kibas who use Gatsuuga (Double fang destroyer). They spin and hit the wall at multiple points but are unable to penetrate it. The craters repair themselves again as Shikamaru observes them. Naruto tries to start his rasengan, but since chakra is being sucked out, it is hard to control.

Shikamaru asks to speak to the leader. He says they won’t pursue Sasuke anymore. Jiroubou answers they are his meal, he won’t let them out. Shikamaru asks Jiroubou to just let him out. Jiroubou laughs and says though he’s the leader, he’s the only one to beg for his life and fools like him don’t deserve to have the responsibility of watching out for the lives of the squad. Kiba and Naruto start arguing and fighting. Choji tells them to shut up. Shikamaru is in his thinking position. Choji starts to eat chips. Naruto is about to use kage bunshin but Neji stops him since it would be useless as the wall can repair itself. Neji says they need an explosive taijutsu attack in order to break through the wall in one shot. Shikamaru finishes thinking and asks Neji to observe the chakra of the wall behind Choji. Naruto starts to complain but Choji tells him to remember what Shikamaru said before their mission. Shikamaru asks Kiba to hit the wall behind Choji. Neji observes the wall and understands what Shikamaru is trying to do. Neji explains it to Naruto. There are fast and slow repairing craters. The slow repairing spots meant there was a lower concentration of chakra there. Then Shikamaru spoke to the enemy to confirm his location, assuming the area furthest away from the enemy has the lowest concentration of chakra.

Choji uses Baika no jutsu (Double-size technique) and blows up like a blimp. Then he uses Nikudan sensha (human cannon ball) and becomes a large rolling ball. He crashes into the wall and breaks through. Shikamaru tells Choji, "You really are the best." Choji gives him a big smile.

Neji is not as smart as Shikamaru but smart enough to follow his thoughts. Naruto and Kiba are loudmouths and not too bright. Choji is not bright either but at least he’s quiet.
