43: Sakura’s Tears

The sword pushes Naruto to the other side of the bridge but does not pierce him. Naruto unleashes a howl that echoes throughout. Yamato notes their abilities are inhuman. Sakura thinks about the human Naruto compared to this beast. Naruto pushes away the sword. Oro retracts the sword back into the snake and his mouth. Naruto howls again, shaking the landscape. Kabuto remarks did he want to save Sasuke so badly he was willing to turn into that and lose control over his own body. He calls Naruto a sad child. Tears form in Sakura’s eyes and drip down her face. She runs past Kabuto toward Naruto, telling him to stop.
Oro’s head returns toward his body. Another Orochimaru body comes out from his mouth. Sai makes his move. As he lies on the ground, Oro thinks how time is running out and the body is starting to reject him.

One of Naruto’s tails knocks Sakura down. Yamato calls forth wood from the ground that entwine Naruto in a tight embrace. Each of his tails is also bound. Sakura clutches her arm in pain. Kabuto walks toward Sakura but Yamato also stops him with wood beams sprouting from the ground. But Kabuto wants to help heal Sakura since both Oro and Konoha want Akatsuki gone and if he lets them live they can take down another Akatsuki for them. Naruto starts to free himself from the wood.

Sai approaches Oro, telling him he works for Danzou and is not his enemy.

Yamato runs toward Naruto while performing the seals for Hokage-Shiki Jijun Jutsu: Hokage style submission technique, and then Kakuan Nitten Suishu: Kakuan’s Return to Humanity. As Naruto breaks free, Yamato presses his palm against Naruto’s chest, then Yamato falls back as spiked wooden pillars appearing from the ground surround Naruto. Yamato’s hand is still attached to Naruto’s chest by a line of chakra. Naruto slowly returns to normal.

Meanwhile Oro calls Danzou a senile old relic and asks what he wants. Sai starts to speak but Oro interrupts him and reminds him to choose his words very carefully when he speaks to him or he’ll kill him. Sai calmly responds he’ll only speak as directed by Danzou. Oro spits out a sword at Sai.

End: ANBU Investigative Report – Information on Sai given by an ANBU - he’s an artist who brings drawings to life, lacks emotion, works under Danzou, part of Root. The ANBU is revealed to be Yamato who says Sai won’t get away with anything as long as he’s on watch (gives his scary face).
