Ep 28: The Resurrected Beasts
Team Gai continues to fight their doubles. Gai notes things have gone quiet at the enemy hideout. Neji checks and sees all the puppets lying around but Sakura and Chiyo are still standing. He notes that the fight is over. Lee asks about Sakura. Neji says they're both okay and sees Sasori on the ground. Neji notes that although one of the two Akatsuki were defeated the technique has not been dispelled which means either the other one set up the technique, or as Tenten suggests, the technique won't be dispelled unless they defeat their doubles. Chiyo is feeling the effects of her injuries and using too much chakra. Sakura heals her but realizes she's also poisoned and they have no more antidote, but if they return to the village she can make more in time, but Chiyo refuses to go back yet. Neji realizes they're getting weaker but their doubles are not since the technique most likely copies the abilities and strength of whoever removes the seal at the exact moment it's removed. Unlike them, real humans get tired after a while. They continue to fight but are now losing to their doubles. Lee then has a vision of Sakura and starts to laugh as he realizes something. He tells the rest of his team that in order to defeat the enemy they just need to be stronger than they were when they first met them. Tenten points out that's easier said than done. Lee's motto is become stronger than yesterday. Flashback to the team lying on the ground and Gai berating them, that they were the same as yesterday. Lee and the team recite “stronger than the you of yesterday.” Even though Lee and Tenten are chuunin and Neji is a jounin they still want to be stronger. They fight with renewed vigor, finally defeating the enemies. End: Ninja Academy Special Lecture by Kakashi on necessary components to performing techniques, one of which is hand seals; there are some special hand seals but basic set of twelve. Naruto demonstrates all 12 then the clone technique (ram, snake, tiger). He creates several useless clones on the floor. Review: Yawn, the team Gai fights were not original or interesting. Notes: Thoughts:
