Ep 211: Memories of Fire

Five years ago, as Todoroki walks home, he hears people calling fire. He realizes it’s his house and he runs in, calling his parents. He sees his brother held by Gantetsu. Then the ceiling collapse on them and he escapes outside. His pack is burnt and he grips a fish fob in his hand. Later he finds out from his sensei, who teaches him swordsmanship, that the Shinobazu burned his house. His parents’ bones were found but not his brother’s.

Todoroki attacks Gantetsu again but Naruto stops him again. Now he also wants to get rid of Naruto.

Meanwhile Lee and Sakura confront their enemies who turned out to be little kids who just want them to leave Gantetsu alone. Lee and Sakura don’t want to fight them.

Naruto clones attack Todoroki, but suddenly wires shoot out and traps them. Monju appears and says his wires are stronger than steel. He captures Gantetsu with a net and takes him away gliding on a wire. He says their net will shrink and cut into them. Gantetsu calls out Todoroki’s name as they slide away.

Meanwhile Lee and Sakura talk to the kids’ leader who tells them Gantetsu saved them from the Shinobazu who killed families. Gantetsu secretly housed them and took care of them. He wanted to leave the Shinobazu but they would kill him. He planned to steal money and get caught as bait for the police.

Sweat soaks into the wire, and loosen it slightly. Naruto and Todoroki try to soak it in swear. They bite and snap the wire.

Monju and Gantetsu see the kids below as they cross. Gantetsu struggles and falls to the ground. Akio attacks Monju, saying he wants revenge. But Monju easily ties him up. Sakura and Lee attack but he encases himself and Gantetsu and Akio in a cage. Monju forces Gantetsu to admit the kids are from the families they killed. Naruto arrives on top the cage. Todoroki arrives and sees his brother.

Review: I think I lost brain cells watching this one.

Notes:
Akio = younger brother of Todoroki

Thoughts:
Wire that’s stronger than steel than can be bitten apart after a bit of sweat. That makes sense, NOT.
