Ep 193: Biba Dojo Challenge! Youth is Explosive!

Naruto returns from a mission (to deliver a letter for Tsunade) after a week. On his way to report to Tsunade, he sees a sign for a dojo challenge. He follows the signs to an old building with a banner “Hot Blooded Dojo.” Lee is there and attacks Naruto immediately, not realizing it's Naruto. Lee thinks Naruto’s there to challenge the dojo and he continues to fight. After Lee beats him up, Naruto explains he’s just there to observe.

Lee tells him he's been building the dojo for the past 6 days and just started advertising. He's doing it to help his training since he's been busy with his missions and can't find a good partner to train with and doesn’t what to train by himself. On the way back from a mission he saw a man challenge a dojo and if he wins he gets the dojo banner. Lee wants Naruto to challenge the dojo, but Naruto has to report to Tsunade.

Later Naruto runs into Gai who has been away on a mission. Naruto explains what Lee has been doing but there are no challengers. Gai treats Naruto to dango. Gai decides to challenge the dojo and disguises himself in an afro and moustache, but then Sakura comes running up. Tsunade sends Gai on a mission to help out Shikamaru's transport group nearby. The enemy is unknown. Gai quickly runs out of the village. He is watched by an enemy ninja (Nanafushi), who decides to borrow his image to invade Konoha.

Naruto tells Lee someone is coming to challenge him but they’ve been waiting a while, so Lee asks Naruto to fight again. Naruto runs off to find Gai. The fake Gai enters the village. Naruto grabs him and takes him to Lee. The fake Gai figures lee is still a child so he's attack softly, but Lee beats him up easily. The fake Gai gives up. Lee's ecstatic but Naruto explains he's just testing Lee, so Lee attacks again seriously and beats him up even more.

Meanwhile Gai learns that Shikamaru's team was just chased by monkeys who were after Chouji's snacks. Ino thought it was an enemy attack and sent for help. Ino blames Choui but he says the snacks are limited edition black-tea pork flavored chips from Tea Village. he two continue to argue. Shikamaru asks about why Gai looks the way he does, and Ino hands Gai a mirror. Gai remembers what he was supposed to do and runs off to Lee's dojo.

Lee kicks the fake Gai out of the dojo. Naruto splashes water on the poor guy and scolds him for letting Lee win too easily since then he'd have to be his opponent. Fake Gai says he's been on 2 missions and hasn't had much sleep and begs Naruto to take his place so he can get some rest.

Naruto-Gai fights Lee and his clones surround Lee, who thinks he'll attack from above, but that’s a clone, and the real one attacks from below. Then Naruto-Gai transforms to hundreds of Sakuras. Lee is so happy, he gets distracted and punched out. Lee gets up resolved not to be fooled again.

The foreign ninja transforms into Lee and decides to leave, but then Gai shows up to challenge him. Naruto-Gai and Lee are now exhausted when fake Lee comes crashing in. Gai follows with his dynamic entry and beats up on fake Lee to teach him a lesson. His wig falls off and Lee realizes Gai was the challenger. The fake Lee transforms back to his real form.

They take him to Tsunade who just got a report about a shinobi called Nanafushi from Valley Country who is trying to get information on Konoha's best. She shows them a wanted poster and it's the man Gai is carrying on his back. Mission complete!

Review: Pretty funny.

Nanafushi = foreign ninja from Valley Country

Shizune calls him Gai-sempai but she's actually a year older. Probably because he’s been a jounin longer.
