176: Sprinting, Straying and Zigzagging!
Chasing, Being Chased and Making Mistakes!

The Kedoui clan claims they have info on where to sneak into Konoha to attack. Exploding tags have been pasted above the team and will explode when they leave. Naruto thinks of using Rasengan to escape but Kiba says they'll notice that and just ambush them outside. Naruto suggests Kiba use Gatsuuga but Kiba says that's the same. Hinata says her Shugo Hakke should work if the rope were a bit looser so Naruto and Kiba and Akamaru start pulling with their teeth at the rope binding her hands. Just as the tags explode, Hinata's free. She strikes away all the rocks with Shugo Hakke Rokujyuu Yonshou (Guardian of Eight Divination Seals: Sixty four strikes). Then she starts to feel faint and falls on Naruto. Kiba has to remind her to untie them.

Naruto sees the treasure chest and insists on taking it with them. Hinata views through it with her byakugan and says it looks empty exept for a piece of paper.

They decide that the treasure chest will distingush Naruto from the fake while Akamaru will distinguah Kiba. The ceiling starts to collaspe. Kiba uses Juujin Bunshin and Akamaru transforms to Kiba then both use Gatssuga to drill through the blocked entrance. Hinata falls while trying to escape but Naruto manages to get her out. She was afraid to admit that her leg still hurts. Kiba contemplates that Hinata worries about them too much while Naruto and he always argue and if they paid more attention to that, they would be a better team. Naruto and Kiba plan to pursue the bad guys while Hinata tries to catchup.

The fakes arrive in Konoha and pass by Izumo and Kotetsu who are doing guard duty. The dog at their feet just yawns and is not suspicious. The real ones come running up and explain to the guards that those were fakes. Izumo runs to tell the Hokage. Akamaru tries to track Akagi by scent. They catch up with the fakes but they throw smoke bombs and escape. Naruto catches Hinata but the other Naruto knocks him down. Kiba comes running up and is about to punch Naruto when the real Kiba punches fake Kiba in the stomach. Kiba is about to attack again but the fake is already down and out. Narutro realizes the punch he took had little affect. These guys are really weak!

Fake Hinata and Kiba run off. Naruto follows himself while Kiba follows Hinata. Fake Naruto runs into Sakura who is coming out of the library with a stack of books. Fake Naruto makes fun of her and Sakura gets really really mad. Real Naruto runs up to her and she punches him instead. Naruto crashes into the ramen girl's take out order so Teuchi forces Naruto to make the delivery.

Kiba catches up to the fake Hinata but she faints before he does anything.

Naruto runs along and is grabbed by the neck by a big bald guy who says he owes money for food. 1000 ryou! Naruo ends up paying lots of people and now his purse is empty. He rushes home and finds all his special nindo ramen all eaten. He starts to turn foxlike amd uses tajyuu kage bunshin to track down the fake.

Naruto and Kiba meetup and the fakes are all tied together with Akagi. Naruto takes off the treasuer chest then Hinata arrives and sees he's not wearing the treasure cheast. She hits Naruto with jyuuken!

In Tsunade's office, Shizune explains the mission was an exam to test their ability to work together as a team. Akagi says they weren't working together until the middle but says to pass them since they caught them after all. Naruto gives Tsunade the box. Akagi says there's something precious for her. Tsunade gets a bill for the training!

Review: Pretty lame but Hinata taking out Naruto was funny.

After a few days Kedoui clan return to their own forms.

The fakes also had similar personalities. Wonder if that's assumed as well.
