151: Blazing Byakugan! This Is My Way of The Ninja!

Kiba, then Naruto, collapse. Shino throws shurikens at the giant bee. The bee spits out wax encasing the three in cocoons. Meanwhile Hinata falls toward the waterfall and crashes into a rock, sending her cocoon flying.

The other two Stone-nins join Suzumebachi. They still haven’t found the Bikouchuu. Shino offers to trade it for Hinata. The enemies agree but secretly plan to kill Shino for vengeance. They go to the river where Hinata is but she’s gone. Naruto starts yelling at Jibachi who mocks him by holding up his pinky finger and asking if she was his girlfriend. They threaten Naruto so Shino is about to tell them the location but Naruto refuses. Jibachi kicks him several times in the head and Naruto becomes fox-like. Jibachi freaks out and jumps back then races forward to kill Naruto but a kunai hits the ground in front of him and stops him in his tracks. The kunai has an exploding tag and when the smoke clears they see Hinata.

Hinata had purposely aimed for the rock to break the cocoon.

The Stone-nins attack with various bee techniques but Hinata activates her Byakugan and uses Shugohakke Rokujyuu Yonshou: Guardian of Eight Divination Seals: Sixty-four Strikes. Needles of chakra target the bees and all are destroyed!

Flashback to Hinata’s training with Kiba and Shino.

Shino breaks out of his cocoon to Naruto’s surpise. Shino’s bugs had been weakening the cocoons. It was all part of his part to get trapped in wax. Naruto breaks out of his cocoon. The stone-nins finally notice that the three genins have escaped from their cocoons. Suzumebachi summons her giant bee. It attcks Hinata with wax and knocks her down. Naruto is about to help but Shino stops him and tells him to believe in Hinata. Hinata gets up and with her rapid hand movements weaves a shield of chakra that knocks the bee away. It crashes into the stonenins and then into the river.

The Leaf genins retrieve the Bikouchuu from its hiding place under a tree. The container had been coated with a special Aburame-clan anti-bug ointment so the bees couldn’t find it. Suzumebachi attacks riding on the giant bee. Naruto uses kage bunshin and rasengan again and hits the bee dead on sending it crashing back.

The Bikouchuu is about to come out but Naruto lost Sasuke’s headband. Hinata activates her Byakugan and finds it under some logs. Naruto struggles to reach it. As the bug comes out, Naruto expels gas, rendering their efforts useless. The bug flies and lands on his bottom.

Back in Konoha, Sakura chases Naruto with the intention of doing serious bodily harm. She loses him but then the Bikouchuu flies by and lies on the bottom of a blond girl. Sakura immediately attacks, hitting the girl on the head. She transforms back to Naruto. The chase continues.

Meanwhile Shizune and Tsunade, and Hinata and her father discuss the mission. Even though the mission was a failure, Hinata is in good spirits and plans to train more.

Review: Go Hinata go!

Notes:

Shino explains that combining Hinata’s natural flexibility with her precise chakra control, she has a complete range of attack, also an absolute defense.

Jibachi uses Hachi Bakudan no Jutsu: Bee Bomb Attack.

Kurobachi uses Hachi Senbon no Jutsu: Thousand Bee Stings

Suzumebachi uses Hachimitsu no Jutsu: Honey Attack

Thoughts:

Why would Naruto who has so much chakra collapse before Shino?

Do bees really make cocoons?
