Ep 144: The Newly Created Three Man Cell! Two People and One Animal!

Naruto’s clones attack the Stupid Brothers but are easily defeated. Naruto attacks again but Raijin picks up and swings Fuujin around to destroy the clones.

Iruka tries to talk some sense into Mizuki, but he cares only about power not comrades. Mizuki takes off, Iruka follows, and Pakkun tells Naruto to follow as well. The Stupid Brothers think Naruto is playing tag with them and made them "it."

Naruto is running along when Fuujin drops down on him. Naruto and Pakkun fall to the ground. Raijin is hungry so Fuujin takes out some food.

Iruka follows Mizuki to a forest of bamboo. Mizuki’s arm appears from the ground holding a kunai. His arm stretches out and then he appears behind Iruka holding the kunai to his throat. Mizuki cuts Iruka’s neck! But it’s just a log! Iruka then appears behind Mizuki.

Naruto throws a smoke bomb then does kage bunshin and the clones run off and the Stupid Brothers think it’s a big game of tag. They hit the ground with their fists and the trees come crashing down all around them, taking out the clones. Naruto calls them "Two Granny Tsunades."

Iruka continues to plea with Mizuki while clashing kunais. Iruka doesn’t want to attack him because he’s still a Konoha comrade. Mizuki says instead of killing him quickly he’s going to torture Iruka.

Naruto tries to think of another plan when the brothers spot him again. He does kage bunshin again but this time the clones run around the two brothers and make them dizzy and then they catch hold of their legs and arms. Meanwhile Naruto and a couple of other clones start the rasengan.

Iruka fends off Mizuki’s attack and thinks back to how Mizuki was always better than him. Flashback to Iruka at the shinobi memorial and Sandaime comforting him, while Mizuki is looking on. Sandaime calls him out and Mizuki says he was worried about Iruka and tells him others are waiting for him. Mizuki and Iruka run off hand-in-hand to play. Back to present, Iruka says the Mizuki he knew was kind and caring and asks him to remember. Mizuku responds with a swift kick, knocking Iruka to the ground.

The brothers are getting sick from being dizzy then Fuujin accidentally steps on the food. They go nuts and fling off the clones into the rasengan. The explosion takes out all the clones and knocks Naruto back into a tree.

Mizuki tells Iruka he was only kind to him because it was fun watching him be miserable. Flashback to some kids calling out to Iruka to play soccer and the Hokage comforting him. Mizuki’s envious of the attention Iruka gets. Present Iruka doesn’t want to believe it. Mizuki catches Iruka in a trap (bent bamboo stalk tied down by a rope, released by a kunai). Iruka’s hit in the back but it’s just a replacement. Mizuki attacks from under the ground and Iruka jumps back into another trap of bamboo spikes. He’s injured slightly but stands up. Iruka throws another kunai seemingly at random but it was to deflect at an angle and hits Mizuki in the back shoulder. Mizuki acknowledges that Iruka is finally serious and tells him to follow as he takes off again.

Naruto gets beat up by the brothers when they suddenly freeze in place. Shikamaru, Ino and Choji have arrived!

Review: Nice integration of Mizuki into past flashbacks.

Pakkun says to Naruto "You’re a Hundred Years too early to be voicing your opinion to me!" Literal or just an expression?

Why would the rasengan cause an explosion when colliding with the clones?
