Lee staggers around then suddenly rushes to attack Kimimaro for glaring at him. He tries to kick and punch Kimimaro who notes that Lee is faster than before. Kimimaro is still able to avoid getting hit. Lee suddenly passes out and starts to snore! Kimimaro approaches cautiously and is about to prod Lee with his bone sword when Lee suddenly sits up ad grabs the sword, saying "you fell for it!" Lee lands a few punches to Kimimaro's chest and says he was just acting that he was asleep. Lee raves while thinking of Gai and then falls asleep again. Kimimaro approaches again and Lee gets up again and punches him in the chest saying "you fell for it again!" But then Lee's vision blurs and he sits down. Kimimaro picks up the sake bottle and wonders if Lee is just drunk.

Shikamaru is still locked in battle with Tayuya. He’s losing since he doesn't have enough chakra. Kiba wades through the water, gets out onto land, and clutches his wound thinking traveling any longer in the river would be dangerous. He picks up Akamaru and starts walking, leaving behind footprint puddles.

Kimimaro tries to stab Lee who's asleep on-the ground, but Lee turns over and he misses. Kimimaro repeatedly tries to stab Lee but Lee rolls back and forth and finally catches the sword with his feet. This time Kimimaro is on the offensive but Lee avoids all the sword thrusts. Then Lee manages to get in. a couple of hits.

Meanwhile back in Konoha, Gai explains that the more sake Lee drinks, the more drunk he gets and the more strong. When Lee took a small sip of sake thinking it was water, he demolished a restaurant. Gai and Neji had to restrain him.

Kimimaro notes that Lee is a Suiken user and it's his first time seeing one. Lee runs toward Kimimaro then falls flat on his face. Kimmaro first thinks Lee’s moves are direct then Lee suddenly gets up and attacks, Kimimaro now thinks his moves are unpredictable. Lee rants about enjoying his youth and using his youthful energy. Kimimaro resorts to Tsubaki no mai which increases the speed of his sword stabs. But Lee is able to dodge them and then grabs onto his sword. Lee fights backwards, turns, and lands a hit. Kimimaro thinks he can’t read Lee's moves and he has impressive taijutsu. Kimimaro finally activates his cursed seal! His arms ripple and bones shards protrude out. Lee attacks but is unable to land a hit since bones come out of Kimimaro’s body to protect him. Lee gets a cut on his cheek. He gets up with a pounding headache and touches the cut on his face and realizes he was drunk. Lee rushes in and Kimimaro blocks with his bone arm. Lee tries to attack from behind while Kimimaro uses Karamatsu no mai (dance of the larch) where he twirls around cutting Lee several times.

Shikamaru is at his limit and thinks back to the time Asuma saved him. He's 100% sure there's no chance someone will help. Sakon catches up with Kiba but walks past him. Kiba is relieved but then Ukon appears wearing Kiba’s jacket. Kiba can't smell his own scent since he used to it.

Kimimaro turns his back on Lee and starts to walk away but Lee gets up and asks him to wait. Lee thinks he must stall Kimimaro as much as possible and avoid a huge suicidal move, but he still needs to use his secret technique. Even though he is not in his best form, he could still open the first gate Kaimon (initial gate). His speed increases and he races around Kimimaro. Bandages wrap around Kimimaro for Omote Renge (initial or primary lotus). Lee lands a kick to the chest but rib bones protrude out to protect Kimimaro.

Kimimaro, Tayuya and Ukon all have the advantage and are about to land the death blows when Tayuya is swept away by a tornado of wind, a figure appears in front of Kiba and Ukon stabs it instead, sand protects Lee and pulls him back. The 3 ninjas of the Sand appear!

Notes:

Kimimaro explains his bloodline limit allows control of bone forming and bone reabsorbing cells, and control of calcium density and shape of bones. Humans have about 200 bones in the body but he has no fixed number. (Note there is no conservation of matter.)

Karamatsu no mai = dance of the larch (conical tree related to pine tree)

The Temari and Gaara have new clothes while Kankuro has different face makeup.

Thoughts:

Bandages wrap around Kimimaro for Omote Renge (initial or primary lotus), but the move is only the secondary lotus since Lee is probably not able to open more than 1 gate in his condition. Possible mistake in translation.

Considering Lee chugged an entire bottle of sake, he should be throwing up or have alcohol poisoning. Many Asians lack the enzyme to digest alcohol.
