Ch 234: Day of Separation (Ep 134)

Kakashi seems to think Naruto is dead but in the anime it's not as clear. Kakashi says "If I wasn't in time.I'm sorry.Naruto.Was your fate inevitably death?" In the anime he just says "I'm sorry.I didn't make it in time."

Kakashi says "It is said that long ago, two men fought here. From the scar caused by that fight, this river was formed. If you observe the flow it continues flowing, without ever stopping. To mark that battle... Konoha village was built. The ones who share the fate of these statues.Naruto and Sasuke..your lives are remarkably like theirs." vs "Yeah, if you observe the river's flow it seems to go on forever without stopping as if marking the battle. Like the fate of the two who founded the village of Konoha. Naruto and Sasuke your lives are like theirs."

Ends with the Akatsuki plant guy (Zetsu) appearing.

Ch 235: Mission Failure.!! (Ep 135)

Temari says "Unexpected fragility.men are strange" which seems to be a better translation than "Unexpectedly boring" by Dattebayo.

Ends with Shikamaru in tears at the news that his teammates are okay.

Ch 236: The Promise That I Could Not Keep (Ep 135, 141)

Fillers are intermingled with scenes from the manga.

Shikamaru talks to Tsunade about having a medical ninja on a mission - ep 141

Sakura visits Naruto and Ino visits Choji - ep 135

Sakura's request to Tsunade to train as a medic nin - ep 141 (The something special that is needed is apparently the lost of a loved one. Tsunade thinks "You're also troubled aren't you.")

Ends with Tsunade accepting Sakura as her apprentice.

Ch 237: Fool.!! (Ep 135)

Kakashi stands by the shinobi memorial speaking to Obito: "Now as a jounin I have subordinates. But like before.I'm always regretting it.even with this eye.I couldn't see what was going to happen.If you were alive.what would you say to me now.? Eh.? Obito." (this has not appeared in the anime!)
