Ch 226: To My Dear Friend. (Ep 131-132)

Continues from the previous chapter, not intercut with Kakashi talking to Tsunade.

Ch 227: Chidori vs. Rasengan (Ep 132)

No significant differences.

Ends with Sasuke ripping through Naruto with his chidori.

Ch 228: Kakashi's Premonition (Ep 132)

Kakashi's meeting with Tsunade is here. Kakashi summons his nin dogs but no encounter with Sakura.

In the flashback to Naruto's childhood, it is not clear whom he was playing with.

Sasuke says "you prevented me from hitting your heart at the last second, but that was pointless, I've impaled your right lung." Anime doesn't mention the heart or lungs.

Ends with Naruto healing the hole in his shoulder and telling Sasuke he will stop him from going to Orochimaru.

Ch 229: Bonds.!! (Ep 133)

When Sasuke puts on his forehead protector and his sharingan gains the extra dot, he is on dry land, not on a log in the water. There is no log on water fights at all.

Ends with Sasuke saying he will break that bond.

Ch 230: Time of Awakening!! (Ep 133)

The fight continues on land not in the water.

The fight sequence in the anime is much longer and includes the chain of Naruto clones from a previous chapter. In the anime Sasuke smashes Naruto headfirst into the ground, then Naruto falls and floats onto the water when the demon fox appears to him. In the manga after Sasuke thinks "As long as I have these eyes I can conserve chakra..." Naruto attacks again but Sasuke punches him in the face and Naruto falls into the water. Then comes the scene with the Demon fox in the cage.

Fox says in manga that Naruto is like the fourth hokage but anime just says how he was sealed by the fourth hokage.

Ends with Naruto becoming like the demon fox.

Ch 231: A Special Power (Ep 133)

Sasuke use more little fireball attacks and manages to evade the hand of chakra when it first manifests.

Ends with Sasuke going to level 2 of the cursed seal and Kakashi getting closer.

Ch 232: Valley of the End (Ep: 134)

No flashbacks.

Ends with the black chidori and rasengan clashing.

CH 233: The Worst Conclusion (Ep 134)

No significant differences.

Ends with Kakashi finding Naruto's body.
