Ch109: Leaf Dance (ep 65)

When Naruto goes down to yell at Shikamaru, Shino says "Lectures are tricky things if you don't want to anger the other party."  (Nice line, not in anime)

Hokage's bodyguard whispers "Actually, information from Kakashi has..."  (not in anime)

Ch 110: Finally...  (ep 65)

Lee thinks how Naruto beat Neji and Sasuke will fight Gaara; he thinks of looking at them from behind bars and asks himself why does it hurt so much.

No conversations or Grass lords from anime, just the 2 grass nin getting up to talk to Gaara.

Ends with Gaara killing the grass nins then facing off against Sasuke.

Ch 111: Sasuke vs. Gaara (ep 66)

Gai says the Anbu are probably needed on the outside "gathering info" rather than anime reason of protecting the "critical areas."

Ends with Sasuke landing a blow and cracking Gaara's armor of sand.

Ch 112: Sasuke's Taijutsu (ep 66)

No significant differences.

Ends with Kakashi saying "We weren't late for nothing."

Ch 113: Reason for Lateness (ep 67)

Kakashi says "Be quiet and watch him. You're all in for a surprise."

Ends with Sasuke stabbing through the sphere of Sand.

Ch 114: Attack! (ep 67)

Gai calls the chidori a "truly ridiculous technique" rather than "reckless." Kakashi counters with "Like you should talk, right Lee-kun?"

Manga doesn't show what's happening with the Sand and Sound nins around Konoha.

Kabuto thinks the leaf elite are impressive to use genjutsu deflection.

Ends with explosion.

Ch 115: Chuunin Exam Conclusion! (ep 68)

Does not show how the giant snakes were summoned or the poor guards at the watch tower.

Ends with Orochimaru revealing his face and threatening to kill the Hokage.

Ch 116: The Crumbling Leaf...(nice color pic of team 7) (ep 68)

No scene with Iruka and the academy students.

Ends with Kakashi telling Saskura to wake up Naruto and Shikamaru for a A class mission.

Ch 117: The Assigned Mission (ep 69)

Pakkum doesn't bite Shikamaru to get him through the hole, he leaves with Sakura and Naruto. Shikamaru follows after them.

Anbu explains barrier can only be broken from the inside and "if the Hokage could just take out one of those four, we could join in." The Sound 4 appears to put up an additional barrier on the inside. (This makes more sense.)

Hokage fight with Orochimaru is much shorter. Hokage uses shuriken kage bunshin and Orochimaru uses his resurrection technique, no tile shurikens, hidden snake hands or dragon missiles. No scenes of the academy or discussion about rainbows, and no nin info card on Naruto.

Ends with Orochimaru summoning 2 tombs (never shows the third tomb, anime does and has the character for "4" implying the tomb of the fourth hokage).
